8/11/04 -  ALL -The weather has been chilly this summer, affecting tourism in all the not-so-hot spots of Michigan, including South Haven. 11/8/04 - The Northern Lights streak over Wolf Lake in Oshtemo early Monday morning.  The lights stretched across the entire sky at times Sunday night and Monday morning.  

NOTE:  The lights may be visible tomorrow as well according to some forecasts. 

NOTE AGAIN: 8-15-06....This turned out to be a major event throughout the entire midwest.  The Free Press centerpieced it.
